idem’s glhl-ss is a robust heavy duty safety rope pull switch which is designed to protect long conveyor lengths where protection is required up to 125m (using 2 switches) or up to 100m where just one switch is required. manufactured with a stainless steel 316 housing the glhl-ss is designed specifically to withstand the tough production environments found in the food and pharmaceutical industries. they will survive chemical and detergent washdown by providing all stainless steel parts and robust ip67 and ip69k sealing by the use of integral bellows and gaskets.
they provide reliable, extremely cost-effective safety solutions for conveyor systems and can be enhanced by adding an external mushroom type e stop at the switch or bi-colour led to show switch status from a distance. they have 4nc 2no contacts that ensure flexibility with all modern control applications and are available with optional explosion proof contact blocks.
